rhitee93 Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 If it your first folder, then I would suggest starting with a simple slip-joint. Steve Culver has a great book on designing the mechanism for a slip-joint. The book comes with a template you can use as well. If you truly want a "Flipper", then you are probably looking for a liner lock design. However, I can't offer any guidance on designing one of those.
