December 19, 200817 yr I can see the Himalayas from my shop. Beat that somebody! It ain't the Himalayas but I can see Mt. McKinley from the shop's roof when the leaves are off the trees. Please post some pics Philip, I like mountain views. Frosty

December 20, 200817 yr The storm has passed, and it is pristine white, about 8-9 inches dropped over night, my Corgi has 4 inch legs, and she is having a ball, guess I'll go shovel a path to the forge, this is the best time of year for working over the hot coals. December 20, 200817 yr Snow in the air, snow on the ground, snow everywhere! But what can you expect in Minn in December, snow and below zero weather.
December 22, 200817 yr Wow some of you have nice places! My forge is besides my camp near the beach. I dont see the water from my shop as the yard is thickly forested which slows the wind down a bit and gives me privacy as there are a couple of neighbors. Right now there is 2 feet of snow on the ground, 15-20 below daily. I will post pics in the future. eric
