Scrapyard forge build

New to site and forging. First forge I'm making from pipe I found at scrapyard. Just a hobby knife maker.

Going to make it look like a pig with wings just for fun.

I've read and researched on how to build but just found this site. Open to any suggestions.

Currently have 2in koa wool, one coat santinite drying now. Plan on another coat, then itc-100.

Confused if I should cure refractory coating before applying itc-100 or should I do it all at once?

Instead of ITC-100, Plistix will work better, it's available here in the Gas Forge Supplies section. What type of burner(s) are you planning to use?

"If you didn't care what happened to me
And I didn't care for you
We would zigzag our way through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain
Wondering which of the buggers to blame

And watching for pigs on the wing."

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

Lewis Carroll, "The Walrus and the Carpenter"
