Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
A base for a pendant.
Cedar Crest Forge
On that theme..a base for a hair piece. Attach a simple barrette on one side, and a flower on the other, with paint that matches the flower. Maybe have her help you add sprinkles and gems, from the craft store. Cedar Crest Forge
It would probably be a missed opportunity to not get her involved. Maybe have her put the metal piece in the forge as part of the process, so you get a blacksmith out of her in a few years.
Cannon Cocker
I like your idea cedar Crest! I do get the kids out in the smithy with me quite a bit. Maybe I'll let her be the striker to flatten it out too.
Glenn
Drill a hole in a piece of wood to correspond to the hole in the metal. Glue the metal over the hole and call it a pencil holder.
bluerooster
That piece would require me to use my body hammers, and turn it into whatever it wants to become. I see a heart shaped pendant with a center stone there. It just wants to come out of hiding.
BubbaNash
as you picture... take the sides in a bit, flare out the corners and insert a shiny rock in the middle and you have a butterfly or moth? weld it to a stick and she can put it in a little potted flower. ThomasPowers
Since the original post was May 18 2019; perhaps it would be better to ask what he did do with it?
BubbaNash
agreed, but if he is anything like me its likely the item is still sitting on his dresser... So what did you do Cocker
ThomasPowers
Hey; I've almost completed a project I started 16 + years ago and hope to have it done in another couple of weeks max!
hheneg
You could melt a piece of old coke bottle into the hole, polish it up and make a pendant or something to hang in the window
