We don't joke about safety or the law. Not the kind of joke that'll make friends here more likely to get you moderated.

We do a lot of joking and poking friendly crap at each other here but never, NEVER over matters of: safety the law or public relations.

Put yourself in the position of the parent of a youngster who follows someone's joke advice without knowing it's dangerously stupid. Oh for example, somebody tells your 10 yr old to ignore the warning sign on the fence, run right in and hug that big dog. 

Nobody's going to hold the home owner liable, the dog's doing it's job and you can bet your butt the idiot who made the joke isn't going to hang around. YOU will be stuck with hospital bills and the pain of your injured child. 

Stupid jokes can have life, death and jail time & fines consequences.

IForgeIron pushes SAFETY and encourages people to speak up when they see unsafe practices.  The site also discourages illegal activities. Those illegal activities differ from location to location as the law in one part of the city, county, state, or country may differ greatly from another location.

This does not keep folks from harming themselves or others, or getting into trouble with the authorities.  We can only tell them that it will get them hurt or maybe into legal trouble. Then it is their choice to make, and deal with the results of their decisions.
