Lol!  Thank you guys for this!  Maybe I will use it as a stoning hammer.  Do I have a to drill a bowl in it first?  

No; striking oneself repeatedly in the head with it will reproduce stoning of several sorts!

Once upon a time there was a um, er, "discussion",that the face of an anvil should not be parallel with the world, but canted at an angle. 

Perhaps this hammer is designed for that belief. 

Hmmmm, canted at an angle eh? Would that to inCrease the work?
