Burner using 1in pipe vs 3/4

If you go and read the burners 101 and the forges 101 sections you will see that you have to increase the length of the mixing tube, the size of the inlets and gas jet, and yes it will produce many more BTU's but not higher tempitures if the forge is properly sized for the burner. Mike and Frosty realy know their stuff

Well, if not honest we have to be more creative making stuff up. :ph34r:

Sure, a 1" burner has 2x the area in the mixing tube and if properly tuned produces 2x the BTUs. Absolute temperature can't exceed that of an air propane torch.
