Wynn
Hello to everyone on this website. I am brand new to using an anvil and forge although I have wanted to get involved most of my adult life. This year I managed to pick up an anvil and a forge about the same time. They were antique store finds in the same building, but different vendors. $200 for the anvil and $250 for the forge. The anvil is a Trenton 1905 (many thanks to Black Frog for the date help) 120-130 lb range. I don't have a scale except for my back. The forge is a champion hand crank. It was heavily scaled with rust and had a blade missing on the fan. I cleaned it up and repaired the fan blade. I look forward to learning from folks on this site.
