October 15, 20169 yr Hello all, recently I bought a Ridgid Peddinghaus anvil, 55lb. So far the anvil is a workhorse! The rebound on it is perfect and it rings like nothing else! I'm working on my second Knife.
November 7, 20169 yr Do you find the anvil undersized for the work your doing? Just curious as I am also shopping for an anvil as well.

November 8, 20169 yr Big hardy and pritchard for a smaller anvil.! Similar size to my anvil, mine is a 20kg unit, probably 10lb lighter, but as mine doesn't have the second horn probably similar mass under the main face. I find they do the job at that size quite well.
