This is the nearly flawless type of work we've come to expect from you!  The sheath design is quite unusual!  I am not quite sure how the sheath's single slot is intended to work.  Very cool stuff though!

That's beautiful. I'm working on my first San Mai ( cable and band saw blade) right now. I've made a copper bolster and have been searching for a patina look that I like. If you don't mind me asking how did you achieve that color on your copper . Thanks .

Liver of sulfur or Hepar is an old name for a mixture of potassium sulfide , potassium polysulfide , potassium and potassium sulfate . They are obtained by melting together potassium carbonate (potash) and sulfur absence of air at 250 ° C.

The name goes back to the liver brown color of the mixture.
