My wife usually spins on her own having spent the previous weekend at the "Wool Gathering" in Yellow Springs OH. (sometimes my wife gets kidnapped offsite to teach spinning by one of the spinning guilds in Ohio) "The National Museum of the United States Air Force is the official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, 6 miles northeast of Dayton, Ohio." Columbus OH is about a 2 hour drive away and has some great bookstores. Cincinnati is South about 2 hours and has a lot of museums and other things.
