SS...yes they do, and it makes a lot of noise. There's no doubt that someone is at the door.

Very cool. The only problem I see with cool door knockers is having folk stopping by just to knock.

Not my problem. It is loud! It's an ocean front house so probably not many going by. It's a bit staid in Cannon Beach, OR.
