NO; you are far better off to build your own air/fuel gas burner, and build the forge you want from scratch; there are loads of instructions for doing so on this forum. Stove burners are not designed to run in an enclosed heating chamber.

I would recommend making a real gas forge either from a freon bottle or propane bottle. It would be much more efficient and safer. That's what I am doing, building my self a freon bottle forge. Go to waynecoeartistblacksmith.com and go to forge supplies. From there you can get all the materials you need and read his PDF on making a gas forge. Read around on the gas forge section of this forum for good tips and safety. Have fun!

Well since you will be doing massive items make it big enough to roll a rail car into it!  I mean since you will be doing small items make it soupcan size.  By the way can you tell me how high is up?  Or: without details any answer is just fantasy.

A miniature forge can always be employed as a learning experience, and unlike oversize forges will find at least occasional use; ditto for brick pile forges, which can start small and grow as large over time as you need.
