January 23, 201610 yr While visiting Richard up in Traverse City , we were graciously gifted a hammers he made, can't wait to get back to forging and try em out. The diagonal is about 2# and the strait peen is about 2.5 of damascus no patern just layers but when I get home I'm gonna re polish it up and give it a fresh etch. Thanks again Richard!!

January 24, 201610 yr I lucked out and the small diameter on the connecting rods fit the pipe perfectly tight. Just stuff I had laying around. Wheels around too so that's a plus.
January 24, 201610 yr I was out of purple paint. Next time I'm at the parts store I'll get some engine paint. ( I love that stuff ) holds up really well.
