what do you know about the cross?

I've never seen a blacksmith made celtic cross; seen lots of the cristopher crosses made all over---but never considered them "celtic crosses".

Our irish Living History group had a stone celtic cross as part of our kit---we did Y1K Ireland; but it was a small one compared to the real ones.

I heard that a Swiss smith named Christoph Freiderich came up with the method of making a cross like this one that I made.

Glen that one on anvilfire does start to look like a celtic cross; the christopher cross does not to my eye. The large round bows being the difference.

Tyler,
You must be too young to remember a gifted singer with the same name

Here is a celtic cross, not refined yet. Only a couple of days to finish it, along with several other xmas projects.
