I recently bought a nice forge off craigslist with a buffalo company blower I was wondering if any one has some tips for cleaning it up. And what uear it moght be

By lube the gear box Bigguns means a FEW drops in the oil ports and relube with a few every 4-5 hours or so. They don't need nor like a lot of oil, put too much in and they'll express their displeasure by freeing it on your shop floor. Do you really need to ask how I know that? :rolleyes:

The *best* way would be to send it and US$50,000 to me and I will restore it and get it back to you in 10 to 20 years.  Note that the term "best" means not to consider practicality...

Now a good way would be to soak the interior in kerosene to dissolve out any old oil that has grunged up and then to flush it several times with oil to take out the kerosene and then to lube and use it as mentioned
