Frosty Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 By lube the gear box Bigguns means a FEW drops in the oil ports and relube with a few every 4-5 hours or so. They don't need nor like a lot of oil, put too much in and they'll express their displeasure by freeing it on your shop floor. Do you really need to ask how I know that? Frosty The Lucky. Note that the term "best" means not to consider practicality...Now a good way would be to soak the interior in kerosene to dissolve out any old oil that has grunged up and then to flush it several times with oil to take out the kerosene and then to lube and use it as mentioned Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
