October 3, 201411 yr I never did get a fair weight on mine but it was close to 500. Much different looking than yours though, even the anvil. Its surprising they would change such large casting... Thanks for the literature, you up and running yet?

October 3, 201411 yr This may have been more common than you think (although an extra 100 lbs is a considerable difference). My #4 Beaudry was advertised to have a 100 lb ram but actual weight is 115 sans die; 125 with die - I don't think the ram came off a 125 lb hammer. Either way, that is a real bruiser of a hammer...
October 3, 201411 yr Author My 300 lb Bradley has aram thar weighs 460# and I know of another one just like it so I do think this was common for them but I know they changed over the years too because I have a spare ram for that 300 # hammer and it only weighs 325# sans die.
