July 3, 201412 yr Please forward this email to anyone you think might want to know. Subj: Clay Spencer- still in surgery 11am Wed 7/2 Just spoke to Clay's wife Jackie. She says surgery started a little late, he may be in there a couple more hours. Last night they were saying maybe a double bypass but nothing definite till today. Jackie would like everything to come through Allan or myself (Allison) to update everyone else. Too many calls are hard on her but she appreciates you all being concerned. She will call me when they know something and I will let you know via email. Clay has limited capacity for up to 5 days after surgery so probably no visitors. Plan your visits for next week and beyond. Email Clay and let him know you are thinking of him. He will get emails in a day or two (when the drugs wear off). Thanks, Allison

July 4, 201412 yr Author Sent: 7/2/2014 4:42:08 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time Subj: Clay Spencer triple bypass success Ok, Clay is out of surgery! Came thru with flying colors. Doctors said he did really well. They ended up doing a tripple bypass, according to Jackie. He is still out of it and will likely be until tomorrow. Jackie says he is really susceptible to the anesthesia. It will give him a two day hangover. More updates later, Allison
August 9, 201411 yr Has anyone heard news on how Clay is doing after his surgery? I met him a couple of years back here in Chattanooga at the Choo Choo Forge during a tire hammer work shop. A really nice gentleman. Scott
