Avadon
They aren't that brite. They will sell them for scrap. Copper nails and adhesive. Yah good idea ;)
BIGGUNDOCTOR
When doing parts like this die speed is a critical part of the process. Slow-no go. Fast-forms like butter. This part may be able to get by with a single die, and stamping as only the point is getting maximum stretching. Depending on thickness of the annealed stock you are starting with. I would be way more concerned with theft than anything else. With portable power tools like recip saws and the like, tweekers can get through a lot of barriers more easily now. Avadon
Does anyone know what kind of machinery/equipment I could use at home to make these?
the iron dwarf
I would use the 30 ton hydraulic press I use for forming and bending, it is quiet. it has a 3hp motor. I would try to make them less tall, half the height makes it a lot easier to do
BIGGUNDOCTOR
Also forming at a red heat may make things work on a slow press. There is always explosive forming ;)
