kayakersteve
Thanks for responses! I am by no means making show quality blades, but try to make improvements with each one that I make.
smokechaser
What do you use to etch your makers mark into the blade? I'm looking for a stencil to do the same thing for "acid etching" my blades with vinegar and salt + electricity (which is what I'm assuming you use?) Any information on your system would be appreciated!
kayakersteve
This knife had my logo stamped in it with a custom stamp from CMT - See my avatar! I do etch as well and have an old etcher that works fairly well - I buy a commercial acid for use with it.
smokechaser
Thanks, kayakersteve! I just submitted my design idea and hopefully it doesn't break the bank! I'd prefer stamping over etching but have struggled to find any place to make stamps so thanks for the information.

kayakersteve
Smokechaser - There is an existing thread about touchmarks. Stampman is in it and works for CMT - Great company to deal with: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
