EricJergensen Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Cdworks: yes, in a long time. You'll likely clean off the oil long before it goes rancid. If you store it a long time (especially with moisture), it'll get a bit stale. You work with this like you would a cast iron dutch oven. Unfortunately one of my blood tests were showing liver damage from one of my meds so I am going thru some hard times right now with the PTSD so I am not working for the next week or two till the new meds take effect.
