Those are cute! Too bad my appetite requires a bigger utensil (although they'd be perfect for the diet i'm supposed to be on!)

I made a spork that I seasoned with spray vegtable oil, and baked it in the gas grill for an hour or so.

Cdworks: yes, in a long time. You'll likely clean off the oil long before it goes rancid. If you store it a long time (especially with moisture), it'll get a bit stale. You work with this like you would a cast iron dutch oven.

I can't let my wife ever see these or she'll want me to me a dozen sets for all her friends! You done good.

What's an "edible" finish?

Desert.

Frosty The Lucky.

Is that what you do at work, instead of work  ????  Seriously, though, nice stuff.

Okay, you guys have given me a great idea for the museum. Unfortunately one of my blood tests were showing liver damage from one of my meds so I am going thru some hard times right now with the PTSD so I am not working for the next week or two till the new meds take effect. I am going to try these as soon as I get back.
