Hey Tim, I have that exact same small anvil, I cut it off at the top of the ring and it fits in the hardy hole of my 500 pounder (1 1/4 )
its great for small work

That's a coopers anvil. I have one i forged my self that i use. There were a whole bunch of barrel makers around here back in the day. They made barrels to ship the famous blue point oysters. It's a somewhat collectible tool. Almost all of that stuff is worn out or missing parts. But it looks cool.

Thanks for the offer but my other hand would be jealous of the other and it just wouldn't do to have my hands angry with each other, no telling what damage they could do whilst I was asleep. :blink:

I could lift it with one hand.......just as long that hand was on my tractors front end loader joystick. :D

What you all are missing is that it is a normal size tongs, eveything else is minature.
