VaughnT
I know a few members have commented on the relative scarcity of good anvils on the left coast, so I thought I'd post this one that just popped up on the 'bay. Looks to be in very good condition and the flatter/hot cut would add another $50 to the value. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Vulcan-Anvil-100-lb-NOT-SHIPPING-Free-Pick-Up-/160901990007?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2576818677
Daniel.85
lol, they listed it as a vulcan, can clearly see peter wright on the side of it..
ThomasPowers
"Anvils this big are hard to find I can have neighbor help me load it. It is very heavy." Pretty clueless alright. Advertising their Cadillac as a Yugo and thinking that a 110# anvil is unusually heavy and hard to find...The "pickup only" may hold the price down a bit what with the price of gas in CA... Chinobi
if it was a couple of hundred miles farther south i would head up there and pick it up myself, maybe i can lean on a friend up there to camp it, ill see what the bid looks like by the end of the week... VaughnT
I thought you guys would get a kick out of it! Hopefully, the typo on the type will keep some anvil collectors from looking to close at it and one of you can get it for a good price.
