Glenn
Make a sample from cardboard first. Then use the cardboard to transfer dimensions to the wood. Keep in mind the difference in thickness between cardboard and the wood
781
At SOFA last week I bought a box bellows I will try to take some lifts. It is double acting meaning it gives air on the push and pull. The plunged seal is made with feathers

pkrankow
The water drum bellows is described in Harries and Heers "Basic Blacksmithing" about page 113 you can download a pdf here...well, I can at least...I don't know how well it will work in your part of the world.http://www.webpal.or...ods/pioneer.htm Any type of valve will require neat accurate cutting. Is there a friend of yours with some carpentry skills who can help? Phil

Jeff Lodge
is this draw in inches or milimeter? Looking at the file that's posted I would assume the measurements are metric.

blacksmithingone
Azur if it works then that is all that matters. it may not be the best material to use but try it and see what happens. that is what this is all about. you may have great success with that material and you may not but so what. it is part of this adventure you are on. if it works or dont then just reply back and tell us what happened. we can all give you advice but unless you are willing to try it out then it really doesn't matter. there is nothing wrong with asking questions but you have to be willing to accept the suggestions or even try them.
