September 30, 201213 yr so guys i find this material it was old fuirninture and i want to make box bellows with it i relaiser if i make bigger bellows waisting air in small hole wood"nt be important so i asking you how to make bellows to not ruin this material ;I need that this work
September 30, 201213 yr Make a sample from cardboard first. Then use the cardboard to transfer dimensions to the wood. Keep in mind the difference in thickness between cardboard and the wood

October 2, 201213 yr The water drum bellows is described in Harries and Heers "Basic Blacksmithing" about page 113 you can download a pdf here...well, I can at least...I don't know how well it will work in your part of the world.http://www.webpal.or...ods/pioneer.htm Any type of valve will require neat accurate cutting. October 2, 201213 yr is this draw in inches or milimeter? Looking at the file that's posted I would assume the measurements are metric.

October 4, 201213 yr Azur if it works then that is all that matters. it may not be the best material to use but try it and see what happens. that is what this is all about. you may have great success with that material and you may not but so what. it is part of this adventure you are on. if it works or dont then just reply back and tell us what happened. we can all give you advice but unless you are willing to try it out then it really doesn't matter. there is nothing wrong with asking questions but you have to be willing to accept the suggestions or even try them.
