He served me many years.For the past six years, I don't have knife, so I decided to do some myself.Pictures of the process of creating.Made of steel type 1075. Did you intend that tang to be so high or was is a ***insert Homer Simpson "DOH"***moment. I've had quite a few of those. Post some finished pics. Loneforge Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 The rough forging looked great and so does the profiled blade. Wouldn't take much to grind a pinch of the top of that Tang to fit a guard.
