Ridgewayforge
Hi all, I'm currently looking at this forge to buy, and I'd like y'all's opinion on it. Does anyone know what brand it is? (I think Cannedy Otto, personally, or buffalo) forge.bmp Thanks all! ~Rf

pkrankow
No obvious condition issues, cracks and such... I don't know the value Phil
divermike
looks ok to me from what is visible, check the blower arm carefully, they crack just like the hearth.
Frank Turley
More than one company made this style. My personal forge is similar and says "Champion...Lancaster, Pennsylvania." The pictured forge shows an old fashioned Buffalo tuyere ball which has slots and is hemispherical. The blower is similar to a Cannedy-Otto, but it's difficult to tell from the photo. Besides my forge, I have one other similar one in the shop. Both of mine have rectangular firepots.
Ridgewayforge
Frank, I looked it up and you are right: It appears to be a Buffalo Forge. I'll let everyone know if I score this gem! Thanks for your help!
ThomasPowers
Since building a forge pan is so simple and easy paying big bucks for one is better for a collector than a smith!
HWHII
I have been looking for one just like that one. I would buy it!
