P. Bedard
So I was talking to a friend from England who is immigrating here to Canada, that I had been looking for a double-bick anvil for some time now. He replies saying "well, I know a guy down the road..." and a few emails later, and she's all mine! She weighs in at about 293 lbs if the English hundred weight is consistent. The numbers on the side read "2-2-13" and sadly, the makers name is obscured to the point that all you can read is "and son". I have to wait until September to get it (he's just going to put it into his steel container with the rest of his tools) but I think the wait will be worth it. Just had to show it off! ZIG
So it was found in England? ?? Someone should Be able to tell you the maker. It shouldn't narrow it down being in England. Wouldn't think many anvils would've came from the US. Tell us When you find out the maker. Very cool bicks on there. Great find.

P. Bedard
Mat, Yep, as it turns out, it does indeed say I Nash & Son on the side. Apparently a fairly good name in anvils was I Nash. I look forward to cleaning it up and setting it to work.

Sask Mark
I know a guy just down from you on Highway #1 that would love to have an anvil like that! (wink-wink-nudge-nudge) Feel free to have him load another one of those in the container and I will pick it up in September.
