December 19, 200916 yr This was filmed a few miles up the road from me. There's some stuff about restoring a forge in amongst the other bits:BBC iPlayer - Victorian Farm Christmas: Episode 2
December 19, 200916 yr I thought the recipe for the clay floor was interesting, especially the bulls blood. Also the link with the clogs to tread it down and how all the canals were lined the same way.My house is 300 years old made with bricks from the field across the road, so the bit about firing them was good.
December 19, 200916 yr Web site said, "Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only" So now what?
December 20, 200916 yr Author Sorry, I thought that it worked all over the world. I used to work in a forge with a clay floor, it was great to stand on, warm in winter and springy underfoot. There were two slightly worn patches in the natural positions for ones feet.
December 20, 200916 yr If I were to speculate, the reason behind the restriction. The British subjects pay a tax to support BBC TV. .... Well, that does make sense. If we say we are sorry, can we rejoin back with Great Britain? :D

December 21, 200916 yr Well, that does make sense. If we say we are sorry, can we rejoin back with Great Britain? NO!! As much iced tea we drink here in the south it would break us in taxes!! Oh, never mind, that's happening anyway....

September 24, 20232 yr Welcome from the Ozark Mountains. I have to ask, how did you find this 13 year old thread? I watch a lot of the BBC on our satellite TV, love the programing (most of the time). Do you know the difference between Cinderella and British Rugby teams? Answer... Cinderella actually wanted to get to the ball. I can't control the wind, all I can do is adjust my sail’s. September 24, 20232 yr Yeah, welcome aboard, glad to have you. If you'll put your general location in the header you'll have a better chance of meeting up with members living within visiting distance. I tried the link and NOPE the Beeb still won't let me watch without joining (maybe?) or moving across the pond and I really enjoyed Shawn the sheep when it was showed here. Off to Amazon Prime I go, I'll report back if I'm not hopelessly trapped! Wish me luck guys! Frosty The Lucky.
