December 13, 200916 yr I smack around my first bit of hot steel today. Went to the New York State Designer Blacksmiths Adirondack Chapter meeting. I over cooked my stock a little, but had a absolutely great time. I learned a ton, and got all the critical parts to build a LP Gas forge, met a bunch of great guys. This is a very addictionly fun hobby. Steve

IFI is represented by members in more than 50 countries and a lot of info is location specific. December 15, 200916 yr I agree with everyone this is an adiction that you can't kick. My wife say that all I ever do anymore is work and then come home and work in my shop. Its bitter, sweet to her. She can show a friend a piece of my work and say My husband made that. Welcome abboard and have fun.
