nonjic Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 Im ditiching the power hammers for a bit and trying to do more work by hand, This is a little blacksmiths knife I clay backed (silversteel, W1) Its my first hamon and im made up with it! very difficult to photograph. Second take a sheet of paper and hold it over the flash bulb of your camera, it dulls or diffuses it enough for a good picture. You say 'silversteel W1', but I was under the impression silver steel was a different specification. Are they actually the same, specification wise?
