Jaret
A guy has this anvil for sale. I only have this side view picture. He said the a chips along the edges but the face is in reasonably good shape. He is asking $125 and its 115lbs. Is this worth buying? Thanks Jaret
steveh
At that price you really can't go wrong buying it,you could always get your money back down the road reselling it.

new guy
that beats most peoples first anvil, from what i hear. buy that puppy! anvils can be a pain to aqquire. get that thing. about a dollar a pound sounds like a good deal.
Sask Mark
I sold a 150 pounder in similar condition for $180 not too long ago. Considering we live in the same region, that seems to be in the ballpark for the going rate for Vulcans around here.

sloscheider
I'd call them asap to reserve it. They're typically quiet anvils with low rebound. My son (13 yo) has a Vulcan we rescued from use as an anchor for a swimming raft he prefers it because it's easy on his ears. It's about 125 lbs. Jaret
Called the guy back. Still has it. In fact he has another that is 100lbs. SO 2 for sale, but I can only grab one of them. So atleast I will be off to a good start. Thanks all for your advise.
