Lubernaut
Hello everybody, Here's a new piece that's going to some hotshot architect in Russia. He's really into Art Nouveau and bought 18 of my client's AN ceramic pieces at the show we did in March. The piece is a thank you commissioned by the gallery. His initials are ST so I incorporated them vaguely into the r

Frosty
If I saw shapes like your work in my dreams I'd go totally insane. I love it, it's such a wonderful blend of seductive curves and pleasing shapes in goose bump scary poses. It is just plain delightful. What is the patina you used for the leather like effect? Frosty
divermike
my first thought was of a small beetle like thing seen in the mummy movies, it really evokes emotion, thanks for sharing.

Leland
Great piece.. a little Geiger-esq. Hm. If Geiger and Alessandro Massucotelli had met at a bar in the wee hours, had a little too much schnapps and absinthe, argued, drank some more and then drew...they mighta come up with something like this! Frosty
Copper sulfate, copper nitrate and H2O. I sandblasted it first... How'd you apply them? I really like the color and texture of it, it's so leather-like. Frosty
JamesBBrauer
I see a little steampunk in there, besides the sinew Geiger thing. But unlike most steampunk, it isn't made from plumbing parts and found objects. Quite the real deal.
