ok i dont think you guys understand what i ment,i can only use the internet on my friends computer for 10 minutes a day thats why i cant go and search for hours to find an answer.im not beeing rude or ungratful but thats my situation.soon i will have internet on my own Pc so ill be on forever

Yes i do like camping,fishing and those things,i will probably just collect pieces of Rail road sleepers and use them,aparently they are very hard and have awesome colors when varnished or treated

i dont really know what pine it is.um i know of a wood called Kouri and its very pritty wood when vanished,but it also is a tree thats not allowed to be droped/chopped down. thanx for all the help guys DM

yup but dont you guys worry because i think im starting to figure out how the site works,you see i didnt have alot of time on the net to read all the different posts to find my answer so i just asked it,but as i said im getting the hang of it.

Would a piece of pine tree wood make a good knife handle?i have alot of the stuff

yes i did but i wanted to see many different ways to help me decide but ive finished it, i just used the blade of the knife to dig a hole inside the horn/antler and dug my way in with a leatherman saw.i know its wierd but hey i did it and ill post pics once ive glued it in with rezin

its not for my forge its for my camping coke can stove i made.im asking whats in Heet because we dont get Heet in New Zealand so i wanna find a similar thing to use,its used to be a fuel when making a pot of coffee hot

i understand and im just finishing up the small bits and pieces of my forge and ive got a piece of RR line which for some reason is about 4 to 5 inches thick on the top and its my anvil and i just need some scrap metal to practise on and ill be set for a long time

wow its so nice to somebody thinks my first poker ive made is good.im ganna make a smaller poker with the hole thing as just twists and a curled handle.um if u dont mind can u give me a sort off task or something after the poker project because as ive said before i dont get tought everything i wanna do.

yes i know and with this metal i have a to leave it about 2 to 3 minuters longer than i would think i would.what r the ways of telling if the fire is oxidising too much?
