well its just a motor with a fan atatched to it

Does anyone have any easy and cheap ways to build a housing around a fan, almost like on a hand blower exept it will be run by a motor instead, all i need is a housing and a ways to make it and attatch it to the fan. thanx DM

i have just make a knife and i wanna make patterns on it but its not damascus so what house hold accids can i use to draw patterns on it? thanx DM

its fine, ill just use the tumble dryer motor and fan, and ill finish building the housing for it, im still new to making stuff from metal so ill just try do it myself and ill gain experience if i stuff it up or if it works out perfect, i will post pictures once my forge is fully up and running with the blower.It should take about a month or so to fully build my forge.and then im gana build a press to do prescision work and a power hammer for the big heavy stuff such as making swords and knives and once they are small enough ill use my soon to be press.

will this mini press be suitable for making knives and trying to forge welding damascus?if not please tell me what it can do? thanx mike will it???

i wanna know how to build that BP0580 press,i can get all the parts very easily so all i need is a blueprint or instructions how to build it

well the fan and motor i got from the dryer is in good condition almost brand new and at my blacksmithing course im building a housing around it to suck in and shoot out air, exactly like a hand crank blower but it will just run from a motor

ive got an old tumble dryer motor and fan and im working on building a housing/case around it to contain and blow out the air

well im not really in the position right now to go drive around the country because i use a bicycle to go to work

well im actually looking at building a cheap one because ive already got a motor a few pully weels and sum pully belts, other requirements i can get from work.

thanx guys for the info, i have two old car jacks here, i plan to make a small portable press and a small portable power hammer but with the small press it must a small one that is made from hardly any thing can you explain to me how this small press works?or send plans or sumthing thanx
