Thanks for the quick reply; hadn’t heard that name before.

Slot Jaw Tongs
Are “slot jaw” tongs available commercially or must they be custom made? I saw a pair being used on one of Black Bear Forge’s demos and they looked to be handy for various shapes.

Identify Anvil marked: G O * D * R O T
I'm trying to get photos. I have not seen this myself and unfortunately, with social distancing, our "Over the Hill Gang" of volunteers at the old iron furnace has not been able to get together for our weekly work days.

Identify Anvil marked: G O * D * R O T
It's a bit of a game of Wheel of Fortune. A friend is getting ready to move to a retirement village and has an anvil he would like to identify and value. He told me there are letters on one side, about 1/2" high as in the Title Box: G O * D * R O T. The asterisk are letters he says are illegible. I'm thinking "GOLD" something but that's just a swag (well, probably not even that). Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you. BTW, I did ask for photos so I'll see what I can get.

Butcher Dies for Guillotine Fuller Tool
I want to machine a spare set of guillotine tool dies to be used as a butcher tool. I think they would basically be like a cutter but not as acute of an angle. Does that sound correct? What angle would be appropriate? I was thinking it would be 45 degrees or probably less. Thanks for your help.

I purchased an antique bellows to restore.
Does anyone have recommendations on how to clean an old double-action bellows? We have one at a steam museum that has LOTS of dirt/smithy dust covering it. Thanks
