Nimba anvil
Well I have a 300lbs rail anvil I made that I use for long pieces that need straightening out. It's just to big for normal work. The only problem I have with getting this nimba anvil is that I'm going to have to wait until around June to get it. They have to finish making it and ship it up to alaska.

Burner size
I know that a 3/4in burner is good for about 350cui but how many btus are need to reach welding temp?

T-burner (Frosty) wind screen
I took some non galvanized steel dryer vent hose that fits around the intake of my t burners and sits on the ground so the wind has no effect.

Incense burner
I tired it out on a few different incense my fiancé has and it seems to be the perfect length. But it does need to be a bit longer. I'll see about doing a demo at the next meet. I'll need to find more flat stock and sharpen my chisel.

Incense burner
Made a incense burner thingy today. Out of 3/8in flat stock. I tried to make a feather but it ended up looking like a leaf. I hot cut the veins before I used a grinder with a cut off wheel to cut them out and widen them before I did the final work with a standard grinding wheel.

Bottle cap opener cracked
I tried making a bottle cap opener and as I was finishing up the drifting it cracked. I think it was because Idrilled out the hole than drifted the hole. The stock was bigger than the one that I made before.

New axe maker replied to New axe maker's topic in Hot Cuts, Anvil devils, metal cutting on the anvil.Only suggestion is let the heat soak into it. And don't hit fast make every strike count. And keep the metal hot
