first fire in my forge -
well I got to make a few nail hooks,a letter opener, and rr spike knife yesterday . I`ll try to get pics of the projects . I didn`t have any clinker ,and the coal was FREE! Here is a few pics of me hammering

well this saying happened to me yesterday evening when I fired my forge & it got going I was working on a letter opener and rr spike knife and well "had to many irons in the fire" . I will post pictures later today.

Hey y`all me & my cousin are going to fire my coal forge Sunday evening:). I was thinking about making afew nail hooks & maybe a letter opener or 2. What would some other EASY projects we could do, my cousin has never blacksmithed before but I`am going to go step by step on the nail hooks& letter opener though . So if y`all have any good ideas on starter projects I would apperiate it. Thanks Chris,:)

Hey y`all i was thinking/wanting a touchmark to stamp all my work where could I buy one or hard is it to make one ? I was thinking a hammer and my intials CJ on the hammer head

Well do like I like to do is warm the metal up and take a brass wire brush & brush it and the brass melts and it has a nice brass finsh:)its just wat i do with a cheapo hf brass wire brush:p

here is my coal forge , I ain`t got to test it out yet:(. It only costed me $50 for the blower everthing else was "Scarp" which ain`t a word:p:D
