    A heavy hunting sword would be used for wolves or wild boar, where the light one would be more of a saramony sword. I mean you wouldn't want your sword to brack whele you were fighting a wolf would you.

    These are a pear of tong that I made out of RR spikes, I still need to weld on the handles but I like thim a lot. This coal on ebay is it any good.My link

    These are a pear of tongs that I started yesterday and now I just need to weld on the handles, they are made from RR spikes. These are my thired pear.

    I like that first rack best, but all of them are probly beter than I could do so good job.

    Ok I could not find a pic but you could look at your avitar pic I think that shows what you need. But incase it doesn't you take a belt from the big wheel to the blower and sowe it together, then look at the shaft to the big wheel there should be eather two screws or two holes where there used to be screws, now on the rocker conected to the handle take a pice of strap and screw it on to there then pull it as far away from the big wheels shaft as you can get it, mesher that and cut your strap that long then screw it onto the shaft, Wiend it up until that end of the rocker is tuching and repeat on the other side. If you do all that right you should be good to go.

    That other forge isn't wethless anymore I got some cast iron welding rod and now I think it will stay together.

    Me I got started with a bonfire, a pear of lethermen pliers, a hammer, and a slabe of conreat at the age of 13. PS. this topic is to enceredeg all of you who are just starting that a lot of us started small.

    Have you looked into shop presses yet? You could get a nice one for 500.00, go to Grizily Tools websit they have a few and there are a lot on E-Bay.

    the pipe is 1 inch but I don't know what sive you should make the gas inlet hole. You might have to expriment with that. And please send me some pics of your werk.

    I have read your messege and I have two forges, one I can give you the other I would want to get something out of. The one I can give you has three cracks running trew it and is basicly cracked in half the other has one crack and is still in good shape.I posted some pics of it on the gallery.I would want about 100.00 for it.Bouth forges come with blowers and I could do a little fixing on 3 crack.
