BP1037 Wing Nuts 02

The wing nut.

The wing nut is forged out of round steel 9/16'' 3 3/8'' long. Incised with the hold of the magnet and the 3'16'' fuller. And round it the same like in wing nut Blueprint

With a 1/4-5/16'' fuller we neck down to the anvil until we get a 1/4 '' neck.

Bend it on the anvil fork a bit more then 45 degrees.

Hold with a pickup tongs in the middle and heat both sides.

Put both wings parallel od the air hammer die and forge. Be sure and hold firm.
