BP1026 Wine Jar Stand

The photo's are of an 2000 yeas old wine jar of a collector that I was commissioned to design and forge the base stand.
The beauty of the design is that it compliments the grace and the beauty of the jar and holds the jar in the air like you hold it with three fingers around.
Views of the jar plus stand base. 
The pattern of the flat steel 5/16" x1 1/4" x 15" long cut with a chisel and forged to the final form before the forming the base stand.
