BP1022 Scale Lube
How to prepare a scale lube and how to use it as a punch lube.

The scale was collected from the air hammer and from around the anvils.
A handfull amount of the scale is put in a steel bowl and crushed with a ball been hammer to form a file powder.
I had no coal so a small amount of coke is hammered to a game powder and added to the scale.
The two are mixed together to form the lubricant.
The coal is used to create gasses, the scale is used as a high temperature lube. The combination is a good working combination.
