January 11Jan 11 Happy New Year!! Welcome to our World. You know it is a Trenton. If you put it on a Scale, you will know how much Fat it has. When it was born is immaterial, You have possession of it, therefore it still is. Get it Hammered, maybe it will talk?? If you put the area where you are making a shadow, in your Avatar, we may be able to find someone close to you. Then you can ask more questions. "Where is the ON Button?" "How do you access the Programing?" "When is the digital display going to work?" "Where are your Brothers and Sisters?" etc........ Neil
January 11Jan 11 Well, based on his curtains I'd guess somewhere in Wisconsin and that he's extremely sad this morning.... I on the other hand, I am sad because I shut the game off at half due to da Bears playing so badly. I should have left it on. As to the anvil....I looks like it needs to have hot steel beaten on it! It looks like a farrier's pattern to me with the long horn, 2 pritchels and the little bulge on the step. But there are people who are experts in such things that I'm sure will be along with more info.
January 11Jan 11 That anvil is garbage. Please allow me to dispose of it, free of charge. Just pay postage to….. all jokes aside, very nice anvil. What are you wanting to know, identification wise? The age? The serial number is on the front and there are lists on the internet- perhaps search for that a bit? But if you jut want to show off, we welcome that too!

Not a true Packer fan but the wife is I’m originally from Colorado go Broncos all day long As far as the anvil goes, I did post some pictures of the serial number. It’s hard to make out!!!! I did try to do some research online and the best I can come up with is early 1900s Possibly 1910 to 1912 but I’m definitely not 100% sure was thinking maybe somebody was more experience would have some insight
January 12Jan 12 I used some google-fu and found this site: https://www.watersironworks.com/trenton-anvils/ It shows a good bit of info and history for Trenton anvils including drawings of various patterns and a serial number range. It is a "Farriers Clip Horn Anvil" and if I ignore the A in the serial number A90897 (from above, I can't make out the 2nd digit myself) then it was made in 1910. I hope you stick around and show us some of the things you make on that anvil. And please edit your profile and add a location, we aren't going to remember where you are when you show up in another post.
