Does anyone know if Lyle Wynn still teaches his Tools to make Tools class? I can't really find anything recent on them.

I didn't find any classes scheduled, but when I googled his name there were several social media links that popped up.  Perhaps you could message him directly and ask?  Let us know if you find an answer.  Others may also be interested.

 

 

Did you even do a search? The terms, "Lyle Wynn blacksmith" had plenty of hits on the first page from his youtube channel, Facebook page, class schedules, class subjects, etc. 

I use Duck duck go as a search engine but the same general list came up on Google but with many more social media click bait hits.

There's Brian and Ed Brazeal too. They have been on you tube again for a while.

Brian retired from teaching many years ago and Ed carried on for a while. Lyle worked with them and proposed carrying the school on but ended up starting a new one.

The 3 of them put on a tool making class for our club partially in exchange for a salmon fishing trip, lodging and airfare 1 way. Much goodness was learned Brian was kind of awkward as a public speaker, Ed was much better and Lyle was my kind of talky guy. 

I don't see much for current postings from Brian or Ed though lots of their style hammers, punches, etc. are being sold under their name (sort of.)

Lyle appears to still be active.

Brian mentioned on Facebook a week ago that he was making scrolling wrenches for a class he was going to be teaching. I think he and Ed are putting together some kind of smithing school in Chelsea, OK. 

That's good, I got a dead link message on their facebook page, maybe they were updating it. 

It just occurred to me MS edge updated last night and I'll find odd resets to IT I'll have to change back to my preferences. . . again. <sigh>
