Mikey98118 Posted November 5, 2023 Share Posted November 5, 2023 Actually, the photo says it all; this will never be more than a second rate burner. Why? Because the pipe reducer being used as its conical shaped air intake does not even provide a two to one reduction in diameter with the inside of the pipe being used as the burner's mixing tube. You need at least a two and one half reduction in diameter for a linear burner to come alive, and a three to one reduction is desirable.
