Jason L
you can take it to a local place that has a large set of scales. We used to weigh things like that all the time where I used to work. It was great for starting the conversation on where to get scrap iron or more blacksmith tools, even new customers. Try a scrap yard or farm store. They typically have scales that they don't mind using for heavy iron stuff and they usually have some strong backs around to do the lifting for you. The large truck scales sometimes aren't set up to measure in single pound instruments but they should have a scale large enough that will weigh give you a pretty accurate weight. Also pictures help A LOT! If you could take some pictures and post them you are much more likely to get a knowledgeable answer

Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Yep, a couple of strong back friends or a hoist and gently set it on the scale, weight confirmed or a new weight marking would be in order.

That's true but I'm not allowed to put anvils on my wife's bathroom scales so I had to use other means. She was afraid I would drop it and break or dent it or something I suppose. Frosty
Don't hit garage / yard/rummage sales much do you? Pick one that has a lot of household . . . stuff and bathroom scales are common I avoid household and children's clothes yard, etc. sales but B'room scales were available at more than 3/5. Just weigh yourself before you hit the sales so you can check what you find. If you break her scale without dents or broken bits, don't say anything! When she says something you get to say it worked fine for you a couple hours earlier. WhatEVER you do NEVER tell her about the joke. Not until the well after the divorce or maybe leave a message in you estate papers. I wouldn't even then even if I were already dead. Frosty The Lucky. Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
The 210 is the anvils English stone weight (CWT) which relates to 252 pounds.

Stash
The flats on he feet are a good indicator for PW. I'm thinking you have one. Steve
