Daswulf Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 The stainless I have forged was different than steel in that as mentioned doesn't scale much and isn't as easy to over heat and burn. Different grades seem different under the hammer. Some has been harder and need to keep it up to higher temp to forge, and some has been softer under the hammer.
