"It's white on this side." Page 114 in the hardback edition of the "Original Uncut" "Stranger in a Strange Land"

Might go along with his: "Tell the truth; but not all of it." and "tell the truth and all of it; but in a way that they are sure you are lying!"

I  must need to read it again, it's been a while.

I lost my copy of, "The Notebooks of Lazarus Long" a long time ago and look when I'm browsing used book stores but I haven't seen a copy anywhere in a long time. I haven't done a web search though. Might do that after dinner tonight. "The Notebooks" are out there, I haven't looked in too long I guess. I really need to dig though my boxes of books and resurrect some of my library.

Telling the truth in a way that won't be believed kept me out of trouble for some time as a kid.

Smart man, beyond smart.

Frosty The Lucky.

Most, if not all, the Heinlein quotes that make up The Notebooks of Lazarus Long are available on line.  The only thing missing is the pretty calligraphy.

"By hammer and hand all arts do stand."
