Chris C
Finished a little pair of tongs to be used for 1/4"-5/16" S-hooks and such.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
You are getting good at tong making, although I find square reigns uncomfortable. I would take the hand section to octagon or round, but hats just me.
CrazyGoatLady
I'm so happy that you are posting pictures of your work. I know you're particular about things just like I am and you think sometimes it's not good enough to show. I encourage everyone to show their work. Wherever you are on your journey is, well, where you're at at the time. I show the good, the bad and the ugly with few exceptions. Those are right nice looking little tongs. You're doing great
Chris C
Thanks, Chellie. I'll keep practicing, for sure. Thanks, IFC. I was going to round them, but as soon as I hammered in the chamfer I found they felt quite nice in the hand. Besides, I'll be wearing a glove on that hand anyway. Frosty
You're really getting the hang of making tongs Chris. Rounding the reins off doesn't matter much for small tongs. However the heavier the work the more it'll matter. Well done. Frosty The Lucky.
