mrfix-it Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 A neighbor left a bench with this vise on it for trash. Looking it over, i dont see any brand name. From the few numbers cast in it - 1644 on one side of the vise and 13-645 under the base, Is this a Wilton with the label gone? Searching 645 returns a similar looking vise. I have 2 other Wiltons where the name is cast on the side. Did they use stickers for a while? I don't see a made in china either. Any help is appreciated. If you'll put your general location in the header you might be surprised how many members live within visiting distance. Did you search for "bench vise 1644"? A Wilton mod. 1644 looks JUST like that.
